ROLE PROFILE of Business Development Manager
The Taxback Group is an Irish owned, financial services provider of world leading international taxation, finance and travel consultancy services to clients in over 100 countries. Clients range from blue-chip financial service companies to individual investors & cross-border workers.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager for our Chinese market, to develop market share for our Taxback.com and Taxback International (TBI) services. This person will be required to be the Taxback Group representative in the Chinese market. With headquarters based in Ireland, suitable candidates will initially take part in a telephone interview in order to be assessed for suitability and progression to the next stage of the recruitment process. VACANCY DETAILS
Based in Shanghai, the Business development manager will be required to:
(i) Generate and secure new business for Taxback International Ltd. (TBI) through partnership development and client meetings,
(ii) To develop market share in designated markets/ market niches for any tax products for the Taxback.com service through partnership development.
Position Responsibilities
(i) Taxback International:
* Generate new business
* Conduct market research to create a database of leads and contacts for new business opportunities for TBI in China
* Develop a diary of appointments based on the contacts generated and conduct business meetings with potential clients.
* Advise clients on the tax reclaim opportunities that exist for their organization in order to secure new business
* Support with converting business referred from some of TBI’s strategic partnerships in China.
(ii) Taxback.com:
* Develop implement and manage partnerships with third party companies such as recruitment and travel agencies and implement a referral structure aimed at their client base for the Taxback.com service
* Identify online partners with high client usage of target group, arrange links, banners, referral programmes – worldwide.
* Investigate and role out marketing programmes in undeveloped markets
* Identify new market niches for Taxback.com, develop plan and co-ordinate and implement with relevant Taxback.com people.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. To track all communication with vendors and partners and manage carefully.
2. To communicate in a clear, friendly and professional manner with all existing and potential partners at all times. To establish relations to ensure maximum integration.
3. To consolidate and take responsibility for all documentation required for the alliance.
4. To conduct presentations on behalf of Tax Back International and Taxback.com to potential partners and vendors.
1. Requirements for filling the position
+ Degree qualification in a business related subject
+ Minimum 4 years post qualification experience in a sales/business development role preferably within the financial services industry
+ Preferably looking for a candidate who has previous experience of working in Ireland
+ Highly motivated with a creative thought process
and ability to work on own initiative
+ Experience pitching to large organisations and/or multi-national client base
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Fluency in English & Mandarin Chinese a requirement
+ Good meeting, negotiating and presentation skills
+ Work on their own initiative and a strategic player
+ Ability to excel in a target driven environment
+ Excellent presentation skills
